Study on the Influence of Gravel Drainage Channel on the Stability of Retaining Wall
In order to improve the drainage effect of the rear side of the retaining wall and ensure the stability and safety of the retaining wall,a scheme of laying horizontal and vertical gravel drainage channels inside the retaining wall was proposed in this paper, and the influence of laying drainage channels on the stability of the retaining wall was analyzed by numerical model simulation. The results show that both lateral and lateral+vertical drainage channels can enhance the stability of retaining wall to a certain extent, especially the stability of retaining wall under lateral+vertical drainage channels. And the smaller the distance between horizontal and vertical channels, the stronger the drainage capacity and the higher the stability of retaining wall; The larger the soil index a is,the higher the stability of the retaining wall is.When a>50,the stability basically remains unchanged. The larger the index n is,the lower the stability is,and when n>5,the stability basically no longer changes. The higher the permeability coefficient of crushed stone, the higher the stability of retaining wall.
