Research on the Factors Influencing Deflection of Continuous Rigid Frame Bridge with Horizontal Bottom Slab Cables
Using Midas/Civil,the study examined the influence of prestress loss and bridge formation time on the deflection of the continuous rigid frame bridge with horizontal bottom slab cables. The results indicate that the primary factor influencing the maximum deflection at the mid-span is the top plate tendon's pre-stress loss, followed by the web plate tendon and the bottom plate tendon.Furthermore,as the bridge forma-tion time increases, the initial deflection amplification surpasses the deflection amplification in the later stages.Additionally, when prestress loss occurs, the continuous rigid frame bridge with horizontal bottom slab cables exhibits smaller maximum deflection at the mid-span compared to the continuous rigid frame bridge with curved bottom slab cables.
