Experimental Study on the Thawing Settlement Properties of Silty Clay Under Freeze-thaw Cycles
The thawing cycle has a significant impact on the thawing settlement properties of frozen soil. This article relies on practical engi-neering to conduct secondary freeze-thaw cycle tests on undisturbed samples of silty clay.By comparing the changes in the thawing settlement coefficient of soil samples after two freeze-thaw cycles, the variation law of the thawing settlement coefficient with water content, superplastic water content, and dry density is analyzed. The variation law of the thawing settlement coefficient of silty clay with different thawing settlement levels after one and two freeze-thaw cycles is proposed, providing theoretical reference and scientific basis for the prevention and control of tha-wing settlement diseases in foundation soil in practical engineering.
