Treatment of Highly Concentrated Fluoride-containing Wastewater by Two Stage Chemical/coagulation and Sedimentation Process
The highly concentrated fluoride-containing wastewater discharged from a silicon sand mining、processing and purification enterpri-ses.has treated by two stage chemical/coagulation and sedimentation process.PAC and PAM were added on the basis of adding calcium salts.Engineering practice results showed the treated wastewater can stably meet the reuse and discharge requirementsin case of stable operation of the system. The concentration of F-is less than 20 mg/L when the treated wastewater was reused;the concentration of F-is less than 10 mg/L when the treated wastewater was discharged. The addition of combined agents can improve the removal rate of fluoride.
