Study on the Application of Foam Stabilizers in Autoclaved Aerated Concrete
Autoclaved aerated concrete is a lightweight insulation material that forms a large number of pores through the evaporation of alumi-num powder. The pore structure and distribution have a direct impact on the macroscopic properties of autoclaved aerated concrete.Stabilizer is a polymer surfactant used in expanding slurries to reduce the interfacial tension between gas, liquid, and solid, thereby achieving stable bubble formation. This article explores the effect of adding foam stabilizers in the production of autoclaved aerated concrete on the macroscopic pore characteristics and macroscopic mechanical properties of its body. The experimental results show that, with the same reference ratio of raw ma-terials for autoclaved aerated concrete, adding 0.17%foam stabilizer can effectively improve the smoothness of gas generation in the expansion slurry of autoclaved aerated concrete, improve the smoothness of the surface of the billet, and increase the strength of autoclaved aerated con-crete by 6.5%.After adding a stabilizing agent and reducing the amount of adhesive by 1.5%,qualified autoclaved aerated concrete products with mechanical properties similar to the benchmark ratio can still be prepared, while having better drying shrinkage performance.
