Effect of Asphalt Aggregate Ratio and Grading of Aggregates on the Performance of Permeable Bituminous Mixtures
To improve the performance of permeable bituminous mixtures, the effects of asphalt aggregate ratio and aggregates gradation on the performance of permeable bituminous mixtures were studied, based on asphalt modified C9 petroleum resin and SBS composite. The results show that with the increase of asphalt aggregate ratio, the permeability coefficient decreased, and the compressive strength decreased first and then increased. With the increase of the content of large particle size coarse aggregate, the permeability coefficient increased, and the compres-sive strength decreased gradually.A sufficiently large permeability coefficient and high compressive strength can be obtained under the condi-tions,the oil stone ratio4.4%~4.8%,filler4%,fine aggregate10.5%~13%,5-10 mm coarse aggregate 51.5%~53%,and 10-15 mm coarse aggregate 30%~34%.
