Experimental Study on Interface Defect Monitoring of Concrete-filled Steel Tube Structures
The paper presents a monitoring test for detecting interfacial defects in concrete-filled steel tube(CFST)structures using piezoelec-tric sensing. The embedded piezoelectric sensor is utilized to measure and analyze the interfacial defects of CFST structures through the imple-mentation of a monitoring system and wave analysis principles.A monitoring group consisting of various sizes of interface peel defects and de-fect-free samples is designed. The stress wave measurement results are compared and analyzed in both time-domain and frequency-domain perspectives based on amplitude and sound time. The findings demonstrate that the proposed monitoring method can effectively identify interface defects within a specific range.
