Experimental Study on the Effect of Basalt Fiber on the Properties of Hydraulic Concrete
In order to study the effect of basalt fiber on the mechanics and durability of hydraulic concrete, the changes of compressive strength, mass loss, relative dynamic elastic modulus and erosion rate of basalt fiber concrete were studied through compression resistance,freeze-thaw cycle and erosion wear tests. The results show that basalt fiber can improve the mechanical and durability of concrete, and the op-timal content is 0.4%.At 28d,the compressive strength of BFC 0.4 increased by 1.59%compared with that of the reference concrete. After 200 freeze-thaw cycles, the mass loss rates of base group concrete and BFC-0.4 are 3.08%and 1.13%,respectively,and their relative dy-namic elastic modulus are 63.22%and 78.15%,respectively.When the flow rate is 2m/s and the erosion time is 72h,the erosion rate of the base group concrete and BFC-0.4 is 3.73%and 3.69%,respectively.
