Study on the Influence of Recycled Aggregate on the Compressive Strength of Concrete
In order to cope with the challenges of environmental pressure and over-exploitation of resources caused by the increase of construc-tion waste, the influence of recycled concrete on compressive strength under different aggregate substitution rates was tested and analyzed. The results show that the strength of concrete decreases gradually with the increase of aggregate substitution rate, and the old mortar and potential damage in recycled aggregate are the main reasons for the strength attenuation. At the same time, the EDP model is used to predict the com-pressive properties of concrete.Compared with the experimental results, the prediction error is within 1%~2.5%,indicating that the EDP model can be used as a reliable tool to predict the properties of recycled concrete.
