Study on Ecological Restoration and Management of Slope in Open Pit Mines—Taking a Certain Open pit Mine in Yixing City,Jiangsu Province as an Example
Due to the extensive mining of open-pit mines in the past,a series of geological environmental issues of mines have been left be-hind,and causing severe damage to the ecological environment. The research area of the example in this article is located in an alluvial plain, where the ecological environment has been severely damaged due to the early extensive mining.By adopting a combination of geological disaster prevention and ecological restoration, comprehensive measures such as anchor rod grid structures, slope reduction, backfilling, topographical adjustment, drainage engineering, and greening projects have been taken for management, effectively restoring the ecological environment of the mine, eliminating geological disaster risks, and providing a new approach for the ecological restoration of similar open-pit mines.
