Analysis of the Reasons for Insufficient Bearing Capacity of a Rock Socketed Pile and Research on Reinforcement Measures
In current high-rise building projects, punched cast-in-place piles are widely used as a common form of foundation. However, due to the characteristics of their construction technology and the differences in the technical level of personnel, quality problems such as difficulty in rock fixation, excessive sediment thickness, and pile body segregation often occur, resulting in the problem of insufficient bearing capacity of foundation piles not meeting design requirements. Therefore, studying reinforcement measures for pile foundations with insufficient bearing ca-pacity has practical guiding significance. This article analyzes and studies the reasons for the insufficient bearing capacity of rock socketed piles based on a project example in Zhangzhou City,According to the engineering geological survey report and the testing reports of static load, core drilling method, and low strain method, the reasons for the failure of rock socketed punched cast-in-place piles to meet the design require-ments are analyzed, and corresponding reinforcement measures are proposed to effectively solve the problem of insufficient bearing capacity of rock socketed piles.
