Investigation on the Properties of Warm Mixed High Modulus Composite Modified Asphalt and Its Mixtures
To address the issues of rutting in asphalt pavements and environmental pollution from hot-mix high-modulus asphalt mixtures,a warm-mix high-modulus composite modified asphalt mixture technology is proposed.A comparative study of the self-developed IRD warm-mix high-modulus agent and Sasobit agent examined the key performance indicators of modified asphalt, viscosity, and road performance.Re-sults show that the IRD agent improves SBS modified asphalt performance, lowers construction temperature by about 20℃,increases mixture dynamic stability by 69.2%,slightly enhances low-temperature crack resistance, and maintains water stability. This study offers theoretical and technical support for the application of warm-mix high-modulus asphalt mixtures.
