Analysis of the Renovation of Old Municipal Culverts in Built-up Areas—Take the Municipal Culvert in Xinle Street,Longgang District,Shenzhen,Guangdong Province as an Example
With the development of economy and the improvement of people's living standards,residents'requirements for urban water environ-ment are also constantly improving.As an important drainage channel in city,the structural safety and water quality of municipal culvert have been widely concerned.Taking Xinle Street Municipal culvert in Longgang District of Shenzhen,Guangdong Province as an example,this pa-per analyzes the common problems of the old municipal culvert in the built-up area.Considering the surplus flow capacity of the existing un-derground culvert,the scheme of building a rain water tank culvert and sewage pipe inside the existing underground culvert is adopted to not only meet the flow capacity of rainwater and sewage,but also ensure the effect of rain and sewage diversion,which can provide reference for other similar projects in the future.
