A Study on the Safety Evaluation of Elderly People Crossing Streets in Winter Cities—A Case Study of Nanguan District of Changchun City
Aging is a major social issue facing China,and the adaptation of urban construction for the elderly is an important strategy for build-ing an inclusive city.This paper takes the streets of a cold region city as the research object,and by constructing an analytic hierarchy model and using the semantic difference method to quantify the elderly's perception of safety when crossing the street,it evaluates the street crossing safety of six sample streets in NanGuan district and proposes elderly-friendly renovation suggestions.It provides a theoretical basis for impro-ving the street crossing safety of elderly people in cold region cities.
