Analysis on Pavement Design of Fivided Lanes in Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project
In order to solve the problem of consistency between old and new road surfaces in expressway reconstruction and expansion project,this paper takes an expressway reconstruction and expansion project in Jiangsu Province as an example,analyzes the types and causes of exist-ing road surface diseases and the structure of old road surface,and comprehensively considers the current traffic volume,vehicle driving char-acteristics and the use of existing road surface and other factors,and proposes the four-lane transformation and eight-lane reconstruction and expansion plan and conducts a lane split design.The paper provides a useful practice paradigm for subsequent similar projects.
