Based on Shannon-Wiener Diversity Index,the paper constructs an income structure diversity in-dex,and examines the impact of digital divide on household income structure.The results show that the larger the digital divide,the more homogeneous the household income structure,which passes a variety of endogeneity and ro-bustness tests.The mechanism analysis finds that the digital divide will inhibit the diversification of residents'in-come structure by restricting the Internet work channels and reducing the Internet human capital investment.Hetero-geneity analysis shows that the dampening effect of the digital divide on the diversity of household income structure is more significant in non-working households,households without bank loans and households in the eastern re-gion.
