Using data from listed companies from 2001 to 2016,this paper measures the level of big data-driv-en technological innovation in listed companies using Python text mining,and empirically tests the impact of big data-driven technological innovation on the rise of enterprises'global value chain position and the innovation-driven effect by constructing fixed and mediated effect models.The results of the study show that:Firstly,big data-driven technological innovation significantly and positively contributes to the rise of enterprises'global value chain posi-tion;Secondly,big data-driven technological innovation can contribute to the rise of enterprises'global value chain position through the innovation-driven effects of enterprises'production technology,management activities,sales model,advertising operation,R&D design and strategic planning;Thirdly,the impact of big data-driven tech-nological innovation on global value chains varies significantly across firm ownership and regions.
