The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China guides the new stage,new mission,and new direction,calling on the youth of the new era to be daring in their responsibilities and achievements.The spirit of dedication is an important part of the spiritual lineage of Communists and has accompanied the Party through a century of history,motivating generations of aspiring youths to strive tirelessly for national independence,national prosperity,and the happiness of the people.College students in the new era are the reserve force of talents for accomplishing new stages,new missions,and new tasks.Cultivating the spirit of dedication among college students provides spiritual motivation for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.Making dedication and service a life pursuit universally recog-nized and tirelessly practiced by college students in the new era faces many challenges.This study emphasizes leveraging the subjective initiative of college students to make them truly recognize and practice the spirit of dedication,actively create various practical conditions to"externalize"the spirit of dedication,and provide new ideas for colleges and universities to cultivate the spirit of dedication among students.
