Exploring the Pathways of Labor Education in Higher Vocational Colleges from a Problem-Oriented Perspective——A Case Studyof Guangdong Transportation Vocational and Technical College
Against the backdrop of the comprehensive cultivation of morality,intelligence,physique,aesthetics,and labor("five educations"),"labor education"has become an essential part of China's educational development.Currently,our college has achieved certain accomplishments in labor education,yet there are still prominent issues that urgently need ad-dressing.These include the prevalence of attitudes among some students that favor idleness over labor and the expectation of unearned gains,the insufficiency of the labor education curriculum system,and the lack of a comprehensive information platform for labor education.To address these issues,the author proposes the following countermeasures based on research and practice:clearly define the main responsibility entities of labor education;establish a diversified implementation system for labor education;improve the institutional safeguards for labor education in terms of personnel,finance,and materials;in-corporate the effectiveness of labor education implementation into the talent assessment and evaluation system;and con-struct an"Internet + labor education"information platform to ensure the high-quality completion of labor education goals.
