Exploration and Practice of the Deep Integration of Ideological and Political Education with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Higher Education
Adhering to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to cultivate a new gen-eration capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation is crucial for ideological and political education in con-temporary higher education.Innovation and entrepreneurship education serves as a"new carrier"for ideological and politi-cal education,while the latter provides ideological guarantee and spiritual guidance for the former.This paper starts from the necessity and feasibility of deep integration of the two,focusing on solving the"four mismatches"challenges,including the those between the school investments and the comprehensive development needs of students,teaching methods and student expectations,the utilization and coordination of teaching resources and the requirements of collaborative education.The paper proposes pathways that involve integrating governance,connecting teaching domains,merging resource elements,and incorporating core values to promote the deep integration of ideological and political education with innovation and en-trepreneurship education.This integration is a practical necessity to deepen the comprehensive reform of"Three-Whole Ed-ucation",a mission to implement the fundamental task of cultivating talents with strong moral character,and an essential requirement of running universities that meet the people's satisfaction.
