Study on the Effectiveness Evaluation of Ideological and Political Teaching in College English Courses
Ideological and political teaching in college English courses is a new mission assigned to college English educa-tion in the new era and an important measure for universities to implement the task of fostering virtue through education.In recent years,higher education researchers have conducted extensive studies on ideological and political teaching in college English courses.However,existing research has focused more on theoretical aspects,lacking systematic construction and empirical studies of evaluation indicators,which makes it difficult to effectively guide teaching practices.This study focuses on the evaluation of ideological and political teaching in college English courses,constructing an evaluation system compri-sing 6 primary indicators and 20 secondary indicators.Through surveys and entropy weight analysis method,the weights of each evaluation indicator were calculated,key factors affecting the quality of ideological and political teaching in college English courses were explored,and paths for optimizing this teaching were proposed.This can provide practical guidance for assessing teaching effectiveness,improving teaching quality,and promoting comprehensive student development.
