Exploration of Practical Logic in Martial Virtue Education in Primary and Secondary Schools—From the Perspective of Dewey's"Triadic Theory of Indirect"Moral Education
To explore the practical pathways for martial virtue education in primary and secondary schools and to promote its high-quality development, this study uses methods such as literature review, surveys, interviews, and logical analysis.Based on John Dewey's triadic theory of indirect moral education, this paper analyzes the practical logic of martial arts edu-cation in primary and secondary schools. The research identifies prevalent issues in martial virtue education in China's pri-mary and secondary schools, such as the monotony and dullness of educational mediums,a common"knowledge-action sep-aration"in teaching, and a lack of communal context creation.Accordingly, based on the"observation, control, and inter-est"aspects of the triadic theory of indirect moral education, the paper proposes a practical logic for martial virtue educa-tion that involves"firstly selecting interest carriers for martial virtue education, secondly creating a communal context for martial virtue education, and finally applying practice interaction and experiential methods".This can provide practical guidance for martial virtue education in primary and secondary schools.
