Research on academies in 2022 continued to develop with a robust momentum,yielding significant achieve-ments.According to incomplete statistics,there were 18 academic-related research publications this year,with a total of 340 papers,including 320 journal articles and 20 dissertations.The research covered various disciplines including education,history,philosophy,architecture,and cultural industry studies.The academy research of the year also displayed concurrent developments in both traditional and contemporary academy studies.In terms of traditional academy research,the studies deepened along existing research paradigms,focusing on academy documents,education,architecture,regulations,book col-lections and engraving,academies and local societies,academies and academic research,and academy reforms.Contempora-ry academy research built on previous years by emphasizing the contemporary value of academies,placing greater impor-tance on practical applications compared to theoretical research.Overall,this year's research remained within established areas,with new attempts not significantly expanding the field.Moreover,there was limited focus on overseas academies,a domain that merits further attention from researchers.
