Otherness:A Philosophical Paradigm Beyond Intersubjectivity in Ideological and Political Education education beyond Intersubjectivity—A Comprehensive Review Based on the Marxist Practice View
The philosophy of otherness emerges from a critique and transcendence of subjectivity and intersubjectivity,crit-ically reflecting on and moving beyond them. While intersubjectivity partially overcomes the dualistic opposition of subject-object relations and individualism,it does not fully escape the self-centered dilemma. The philosophy of otherness establi-shes a new type of intersubjective relationship, one that is based on non-utilitarian exchange, acknowledges the tangible differences among subjects, and forms non-symmetrical relationships, fundamentally breaking the foundation of intersubjec-tive solipsism. It challenges the notion of identity relations and disrupts symmetrical relationships within intersubjectivity, thus transcending it.Under the lens of Marxist practical philosophy, otherness in ideological and political education is grounded in the richness of life, constructing a new,non-symmetrical teacher-student relationship. This framework imposes an infinite responsibility on the educator toward the student, creating a symbiotic relationship that significantly enhances the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
