Design Thinking:A Key to TPACK Development for International Chinese Language Teachers
The core pathway for the development of TPACK(Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge)in interna-tional Chinese language teachers lies in integrating technology into instructional design.Design thinking plays a crucial role in enabling teachers to fully activate a highly integrated TPACK,systematically rethink and reconstruct the teaching process,adapt to changing teaching environments,and continually innovate in pedagogy.It helps teachers keenly identify problem scenarios,overcome technological barriers to solve real-world teaching challenges,and catalyze the deep integration of subject knowledge,pedagogical knowledge,and technological knowledge through the design process.This leads to a new understanding,actionable strategies,and deeper reflection on technology-integrated international Chinese teaching.There-fore,teacher education for international Chinese instructors should place greater emphasis on cultivating teachers'strate-gies,thinking,and methods for technology-integrated teaching design,shifting from merely imparting technology tool appli-cation skills to fostering technology-embedded instructional design thinking experiences.
