A Study on the Pathwaysto Enhancing the Competence of University Counselors in the New Era Based on the AHP Method—A Case Study of Nanchang Normal University
Against the backdrop of the new era,college counselors bear the significant responsibility of cultivating future builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics for the Party and the country.They are entrusted with the major task of political and ideological education,and therefore,enhancing the overall quality of this team has become a very paramount task.Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),this study conducts a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the com-prehensive competence of counselors at Nanchang Normal University.The goal is to better assess counselors'job perform-ance and contribute to improving their overall professional capabilities.The enhancement of counselors'competence can be approached by focusing on six key areas:basic professional competence,vocational interest competence,fundamental theo-retical knowledge,education and research competence,mental health,and physical well-being.
