Application of the BOPPPS-Based Online and Offline Blended Teaching Model in English Linguistics
The traditional offline teaching of English linguistics has resulted in the absence of students'subjectivity,inade-quate interaction,and weak problem-solving abilities.Currently,blended teaching mainly focuses on the application of infor-mation technology,while the integration between extracurricular and in-class,as well as online and offline,is insufficient.Through the introduction of the BOPPPS teaching model,blended teaching can be"redesigned"and effectively implemen-ted.The teaching design of"Cooperative Principle"demonstrates the application of this teaching model in the English lin-guistics course.The implementation suggestions for the reconstruction of teaching content,the construction of digital re-sources,the design of teaching activities,and the improvement of evaluation methods are provided.This"student-centered"teaching model can effectively enhance teaching effectiveness and provide a feasible approach for the teaching reform of English linguistics.
