Spatial and Temporal Variation Analysis of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index in Zhangdian of Zibo during Urbanization
To explore the changes in vegetation quality in Zhangdian of Zibo during urbanization, the NDVI from 2000 to 2021 was computed on the GEE platform based on Landsat series data. The an-nual variation of the NDVI,the area variation of the different NDVI levels, and the trend of the ND-Ⅵ per pixel in the Zhangdian were analyzed using trend analysis and rank statistics. The results showed that from 2000 to 2021,the average annual NDVI in Zhangdian first decreased and then in-creased,ranging from 0.34 to 0.57.The proportion of high NDVI areas increased the most over the study time horizon,by 9.16 percent. The largest reductions were in the middle and high NDVI re-gions,with an area reduction of 18.6 percent. After the M-K trend test,74.22 percent of regional NDVI increased, concentrated in central 5th Street and Nanding Town, and 25.64 percent of re-gional NDVI decreased, concentrated in newly built urban areas during the westward expansion of Zhangdian. The study on the variation trend and distribution characteristics of NDVI in Zhangdian can further reveal the impact of urbanization and urban activities on vegetation quality. The results obtained can not only provide basic data for urban planning and green space construction of Zhangdi-an,but also further provide reference for park city construction in Zibo, and promote the improve-ment of human settlement environment quality.
