Local universities have become an important force in the cultivation of geography graduate students,but compared with the double first-class universities,there are congenital big gaps in the level of education,faculty,quality of students,scientific research,management level,government support and many other aspects.In view of the above situation,this paper takes the training of geog-raphy postgraduate students in Jiangxi University of Science and Technology as an example,and constructs the"teaching,learning,research and application"four-in-one geography innovative tal-ent training model in local universities with the connotation of"teaching,learning,research and ap-plication".To train a group of excellent postgraduates who are diligent in thinking,brave in innova-tion and brave in practice,in order to provide reference for the training of geography postgraduates in local universities.
