Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Soil Bulk Density in Cultivated Land in Poyang Lake Plain and Its Influencing Factors
Soil bulk density is one of the most important physical and chemical properties of soil, and has a significant effect on crop growth.Studying the spatial distribution characteristics and influen-cing factors of topsoil bulk density can guide the improvement of cultivated land and the construction of high-quality farmland. The data of soil bulk density, surface texture and parent material of 423 soil samples in Yugan county were obtained through field sampling and experimental tests. The spa-tial distribution of soil bulk density was analyzed by GIS software and geostatistics method. At the same time, combined with the geographical detector, the influencing factors on the spatial differenti-ation of topsoil bulk density in Yugan county were discussed. The results showed that the average soil bulk density in Yugan county was 1.11 g/cm3 and the coefficient of variation was 16.0%.In terms of spatial distribution, the surface soil bulk density decreased from southwest to northeast. The thickness of the topsoil layer and the parent material have significant influence on the bulk density of the soil. The bulk density of the muddy rock is lower than that of the sandy rock.It is suggested that Hedbiling Reclamation farm,Ruihong town,Gubu town,Santang township,Dongtang township,Jinbu township and some areas of Kangshan township should be set as key improvement areas. This study provided a theoretical basis for further understanding the factors affecting the spatial differenti-ation of cultivated soil bulk density and the regional division of cultivated soil improvement in Poyang Lake plain.
