Analysis of Geological Factors Controlling Copper Polymetallic Ore by CSAMT Exploration
After years of geological exploration and research in the Houshan copper polymetallic mine,we have a certain understanding of the geological characteristics and ore-controlling factors of the orebody. It is generally believed that the main ore-controlling zone is fault zone, but the fault zone in the mine is extremely developed and complicated, and the understanding of the main ore-controlling fault zone is not clear. In order to further identify the spatial distribution characteristics of ore-controlling fault zones in the area, the controlled source audio magnetotelluria(CSAMT)meth-od and surface geological survey are used to basically identify the spatial distribution characteristics of ore-controlling geological structures in the deep, and at the same time, the morphological charac-teristics of ore bodies in the deep are delineated. The result show that the NWW-trending fault structure is the most dominant factor in the ore-controlling factors, and the lithology and other ore-controlling factors can play the corresponding controlling role in the premise of the formation of the structure. The combination of high polarizability anomaly and low resistivity anomaly in the NWW trending fault structure is a favorable area for the occurrence and enrichment of ore bodies.
