The Effect of Ganchun Tablets on Experimental Obese Hyperlipidemic Rats
Objective:This study aimed to explore the effects of ganchun tablets on blood lipid levels and liver function indicators in experimental obese hyperlipidemic rats using an experimental model of obesity and hyperlipidemia in rats. Methods:The experimental rats were fed a high-fat diet for 8 weeks to establish the model of obese hyperlipidemic rats. Then, the rats were fed ganchun tablets with different concentrations for 8 weeks, and the levels of triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TCH),high-density lipoprotein(HDL),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),liver function indica-tors,liver index, and Lee's index were measured after dissecting the rats.Liver pathology sections were also examined to characterize the effects and degree of liver puree on obese hyperlipidemic rats and the protective effect on the liver. Results:Ganchun tablets at different doses reduced blood lipid levels, with a significant difference observed in the high-dose group, but there was no significant difference in weight loss effect. Conclusion:Combined with relevant indicators and pathological sec-tions,comparing the different dose groups of liver puree, the blank group, and the model group, liver puree can reduce blood lipid levels in hyperlipidemic rats, suggesting that consuming liver pu-ree may help lower blood lipid levels in hyperlipidemia and improve liver function disorders caused by hyperlipidemia, which is worth further development and utilization.
