Dyamic Analysis of Large Lake Area Change in Jiujiang City Based on Landsat Image
Urban development, waste of water resources and endless pollution of lakes have caused a large number of lakes to shrink or even disappear,so for long time series of dynamic monitoring of lakes is necessary. This paper utilizes data form the Landsat series, meteorology, hydrology and population, and employs the EWI index as a means of extracting water bodies to conduct a wide range of long time series monitoring of lakes within Jiujiang city.It analyzes the characteristics of changes in lake water area and utilizes SPSS software to identify the main causes of these changes.SPSS software was used to analyze the main factors driving changes in lake area. The research showed that the West sea area of Lushan Mountain was in an overall growth trend from 1973 to 2021,and the main factors affecting the change of the West sea area of Lushan Mountain were hu-man social and economic factors. With 2011 as the turning point,Chi Lake demonstrated a pattern of initial reduction followed by expansion. The main factor affecting the change of the lake area was the runoff of the Yangtze River, and its Pearson correlation Coefficient reached 0.815.Saicheng Lake and Bali Lake were in a slow decline during 1988-2021,and the main factors affecting their area changes were resident population and construction area. The water area of Dongjin reservoir was stable from 1995 to 2021,and the main factor affecting the change of Dongjin reservoir area was run-off,with the Pearson correlation coefficient of-0.725.
