A Study on the Suitability Evaluation of Maker Spaces in Old Villages of Guangzhou
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China listed urban renewal as a major action,and stock spaces such as old villages have become an important space carrier for the high-quality development of Chinese future urban construction.At the same time,with the comprehensive promotion of Chinese"mass entrepreneurship and innovation"work,the role of maker spaces in the construction of Chinese innovation system has become increasingly prominent,and various regions are actively exploring pathways for developing maker spaces in old village;However,due to the lag in relevant research on such spaces,there are problems such as insufficient guidance and unsatisfactory benefits in the practice process.Taking the old villages of Guangzhou as the research object,the study identifies three core elements:"innovation and entrepreneurship environment","innovation and entrepreneurship resources",and"innovation and entrepreneurship subjects",and clarifies their spatial evaluation focus.Through field research,in-depth interviews,the study summarizes and analyzes the social attributes and spatial preference of the start-up group in old villages in Guangzhou.It then constructs a suitability evaluation system for maker spaces in old villages in Guangzhou,comprising 3 criteria layers,8 element layers,and 28 indicator layers.This evaluation aims to provide a reference for the renovation of old villages and the planning of maker spaces in Guangzhou and other cities.
