Study on Effect of Magnitude-of-interference on Output Performance of Screw Motor
Screw motor is the power source of screw drilling tool,and the interference between its fixed rotors plays an important role in the performance and service life of screw motor.The performance evaluation criteria of the screw motor are proposed.A three-dimensional finite element model for screw motor is established based on the explicit nonlinear transient dynamics.The contact force,mechanical efficiency,volumetric efficiency and cavity forming stability at the screw motors interferences of 0.1 mm,0.2 mm and 0.3 mm were analyzed by using the finite element method.The results show that with the increase in amount of interference,stator contact force value increases gradually,the screw motor volume increased efficiency,mechanical efficiency to reduce gradually,the motor seal chamber stability at an interference of 0.2 mm under high load condition is better,and motor best overall performance,he motor seal chamber stability at an interference of 0.1 mm under the condition of low load is good,its overall performance is better.The present results can provide reference for interference design and optimization of screw motor.
