Study on Wheel Rail Wear and Fatigue Damage of Fast Freight Wagon Under Braking Condition
In order to study the influence of the coupler force on the wheel rail wear and fatigue damage when fast freight train pass through curves,the dynamic model and fatigue damage prediction model of fast freight train were established based on vehicle track coupled dynamics and wheel rail wear theory,and the influence of initial braking speed and curve radius and curve superelevation on wheel damage was analyzed.The results show that,the fatigue damage occurs to inner wheel and wear damage occurs to outer wheel when the train under braking condition or idle running condition.The coupler force has more influence on the fatigue damage of the inner wheel.When the initial braking speed of the fast freight wagon exceeds 100 km/h,wheel rail wear and fatigue damage are more serious.The smaller the curve radius is,the more serious the wheel damage of the fast freight wagon is.When the curve radius is less than 600 m,the outer wheel will have flange wear.Some reduction of curve superelevation is benefit for reducing wheel rail wear and fatigue damage.
