Breeding experiments of different species of Pinus bungeana in northeastern Jiangxi Province
In order to explore the possibility of breeding and promotion of Pinus bungeana in northeastern Jiangxi, this paper focuses on the breeding of P. bungeana seeds from different provenances in northeastern Jiangxi, and the size (length, width and thickness) of P. bungeana seeds from different provenances. The analysis of thousand-grain weight and germination characteristics and the two seedling raising methods of container seedling and field seedling showed that the seed germination rate of different provenances was significantly different, and the seed germination rate was significantly correlated with seed size and thousandgrain weight. There was no significant difference in seed germination rate, seedling height and ground diameter between container seedling and field seedling, indicating that seed quality is the main factor affecting seed germination rate. The seed length, width, thickness, thousand-grain weight and germination rate of P. bungeana in No. 2 provenance (Yuncheng of Shanxi) were higher than other provenances, and it was more suitable for planting in northeastern Jiangxi than other provenances.
