Effects of truncation and fertilization on germination and growth of Aquilaria sinensi
In order to study the effects of truncation and post-truncation fertilization on the germination and growth of Aquilaria sinensis,it was provided technical reference and theoretical basis for the establishment of"Multi-dry"management model and the production of ear-truncation in truncation nursery. The experiment was conducted to study the effects of different cut-off height, age and post-cut fertilization on the number of sprouts and the growth of sprouts in the experimental stands of A.sinensis at the age of 2 a and 6 a.The results showed that the number of sprouts, the diameter and length of sprouts decreased first and then increased with the increasing of cut-off height. The length of 15 cm sprouting branch was the longest(15.10 cm),45 cm second(6.58 cm),30 shortest(4.08 cm)at 4 months, and 45 cm longest(139.38 cm),15 cm second(122.00 cm),30 cm shortest(112.13 cm)at 1 year. The basal diameter of sprouting branches increased with the height of cut-off,while the branch length decreased first and then increased. There was no significant difference in basal diameter and length of sprouting branches among different fertilization methods, but fertilization could promote the growth of sprouting branches.
