Analysis of urban tree canopy change and landscape ecology change:a case study of Nanchang City
The aim of this study was to reveal the changes of urban tree canopy and landscape pattern in Nanchang City, and to provide references for further ecological construction. The ERDAS 2014,eCognition Developer 9.0,and Fragstats 4.2.1 software were used to interpreted and analyzed the changes of urban tree canopy and landscape patterns in the main urban area of Nanchang City from 2015 to 2019.The results showed that at the landscape level, from 2015 to 2019,the number of patches increased from 51 344 to 71 707,patch density increased from 0.527 to 0.740 per hectare, and landscape shape index increased from 237.7 to 260.4.At the patch type level, impervious surface area was largest(43 289.9 hm2),the area of urban tree canopy was the second(21 129.5 hm2),and the area of bare land was least(1 255.8 hm2)in 2015.The area of different land types changed differently from 2015 to 2019.The area of grassland and bare land decreased by 45.9%and 34.2%respectively,and the area of urban tree canopy increased by 2.7%.In summary, the urban forest in the main urban area of Nanchang City showed growth of total area and landscape fragmentation during the research period, and the area of construction land increased.
