Current situation and future prospects of China's forest therapy industry
As health concepts continue to improve and people's demand for natural environments increases,forest therapy,as an emerging health and wellness approach,has rapidly developed globally and gradually formed the forest therapy industry.To comprehensively analyze the current status and future prospects of China's forest therapy industry,a combination of literature analysis and field research methods was used to examine the definition of the forest therapy industry in China,its development foundation,evolution process,current status,and existing problems.The results showed that China's forest therapy industry,as a rapidly developing sunrise industry,had great development potential.Key areas such as wellness tourism,rehabilitation services,and scientific research and education were becoming the main development directions.However,there were issues in the development process,such as weak foundational research,insufficient standards and regulations,and a shortage of talent.In the future,measures such as strengthening scientific research,establishing standards,and cultivating talent can promote the healthy and sustainable development of China's forest therapy industry,playing an important role in ecological protection and improving public health.
