Experimental Study on Intermittent Burst Events in J-TEXT Tokamak Device
Explore the effect of density on edge turbulence and intermittent burst events of the J-TEXT tokamak,a reciprocating Langmuir electrostatic probe was used to measure edge plasma parameters, and analytical methods such as probability distribution function and conditional average were used to compare the radial distribution and fluctuation characteristics of edge plasma electron temperature, density, potential, and radial electric field under different line integral densities. The results indicate that as the plasma density increases, edge electron temperature decreases, the E×B shear flow near the last closed flux surface weakens, and the density fluctuations have greater positive skewness and kurtosis in the scrape off layer(SOL).The proportion of particle transportation caused by blobs with fluctuations greater than 1.5 times the standard deviation has increased from 25%to 45%of the total transportation. However, the time interval of blobs bursts does not depend on density and remains around 35 μs.Therefore, blobs have a greater effect on edge transport as density increases.
