Analysis of Carbon Emission Reduction Policies in Power Sector of Jiangxi Province
In order to cope with the increasingly strict carbon emission control measures in China and help the power industry in Jiangxi province achieve the"dual carbon"goal as soon as possible,it is urgent to introduce relevant emission reduction policies from a scientific perspective and objectively evaluate these policies.Based on the energy policy model of Jiangxi province, two scenarios(normal and"dual carbon"scenarios)were set up for carbon reduction in the power industry, analyzing the changes in key indicators, the contribution of different policies to emission reduction, and the cost of emission reduction. The results show that by 2060,the CO2 emissions equivalent of the power industry under the"dual carbon"scenario and the"business as usual"scenario will be 7.89 ×106 tons and 92.10 ×106 tons, respectively.Among them, the com-bined contribution of carbon reduction from clean power standards and power import and export policies will reach 94.5%.Based on the research results, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions:1)Improve the system and mechanism, optimize the energy structure.2)Strengthen technological innovation and improve energy efficiency.3)Improve the market mechanism and strengthen publicity and education. It is expected to provide reference for promoting low-carbon development of Jiangxi power industry.
