Research on Green and Low-Carbon Development Pathways of Tourist Resorts Aiming at Carbon Neutrality based on Energy Structure
Aiming at promoting the green and low-carbon development of tourist resorts towards carbon neutrality, this paper focuses on investigating the possible paths of tourist resorts for achieving the goal of carbon neutrality from the perspective of energy structure.Based on energy structure and resource conditions of tourist resorts, this paper establish a bottom-up assessment model for the CO2 emission of tourist resorts and an analysis model for the green and low-carbon development path of tourist resorts considering various technology path scenarios. It will take the Shanghai International Tourism Resort as a typical case to explore the realization path of green and low-carbon development of tourist resorts under the goal of carbon neutrality from the perspective of dynamic correlation between energy and CO2 emissions. The results indicate that, the green and low-carbon development practice by the development and utilization of cleaner energy in Shanghai International Tourism Resort contributes significantly to CO2 emission reduction compared to the traditional high-carbon fuel energy supply mode, with a reduction of 72 000 t/a and an emission reduction rate of 48%.Under current technological and economic conditions, the combination of clean energy development and utilization, energy management, green building and other technologies are feasible paths to help Shanghai International Tourism Resort achieve carbon neutrality.Tourist resorts should combine their own actual situation with the formation of a combination of pathways by developing and utilizing clean energy, energy management, and green buildings to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.
