Hsien-Hsu Hu’s Agricultural Thoughts and Its Realistic Enlightenment
As a renowned botanist,Hsien-Hsu Hu attached great importance to the country ’s agricultural problems,and formed his own unique agricultural thoughts which could be summarized as five main aspects . That is,agriculture was the best career which could promote the development of human nature;Laid attention to economic botany research,made full use of natural resource in China plants;Land policy was the economic life-line of China,which should include four major policy ,such as restricting cropland,sharing tax equally,stipula-ting for the limit of cropland division and rent concession;Multilateral efforts to develop agricultural production with scientific method;And promoted agricultural cooperation business actively ,developed of agriculture fi-nance.These ideas have great prospective and enlightening significance .
