Based on panel data from 30 Chinese provinces from 2011 to 2021,this study measures the development level of agricultural new quality productivity in each province.Furthermore,it employs the obstacle degree model,Dagum Gini coefficient, and coupling coordination model to empirically analyze the obstacle factors, regional differences, and internal coupling coordination levels in the development of agricultural new quality productivity. The results show that the overall development level and coupling coordination level of China's agricultural new quality productivity are relatively low, with most provinces in a transitional state from"disorder"to"transition."Agricultural new quality labor materials are identified as the greatest obstacle to the development of agricultural new quality productivity, with regional disparities leading to uneven development levels between the eastern and western regions.Nationally, the western region exhibits the lowest levels of coupling coordination across various types of agricultural new quality productivity, particularly in the coupling coordination of agricultural new quality labor materials and new quality labor objects.Consequently,it is recommended to significantly enhance the development level of agricultural new quality labor materials and reduce regional disparities.Efforts should focus on addressing the shortcomings in the western region's development level by increasing the promotion of agricultural new quality production materials.Additionally, leveraging the financial and technological advantages of the eastern region, new scenarios and models for the combined application of agricultural new quality labor materials and new quality labor objects should be explored.
