Population Dynamics Analysis of Tree Species Quercus liaotungensis in Malan Forest Region on Loess Plateau
Based on the investigative data of tree species Quercus liaotungensis (Q.wutaishanica) population in Malan forest region on the Loess Plateau, using the theory of survival analysis, the author constructed the static life table of Q.liaotungensis population, and analyzed its size - class structure and survival curve.At the same time, the periodicity of population dynamics of Q.liaotungensis was analyzed through spectral analysis.The results showed that the survival curve tended to be Deevey Ⅱ type, and there was one peak of death at age - class Ⅳ in the curve of mortality.The periodic fluctuation was existent in the process of natural regeneration of Q.liaotungensis population, while the basic period was long and the regeneration was slow.As a whole, Q.liaotungensis population in Malan forest region now is in a stationary state.
