Effects of Variety, Cultivation Pattern and Their Interaction on Growth and Main Qualitative Characters of Flue -cured Tobacco
The effects of variety, cultivation pattern and (heir interaction an the growth and main qualitative characters of tlue -cured tobacco were studied The results showed thai cultivation pattern had the greatest contribution rate to the indexes of growth period, agronomic character and economic character of flue -cured tobacco in the field, being 71.5% , 46.8% and 64.2% respectively; followed by variety, and its contribution rate was 26.7% , 40. 3% and 22.1% respectively. Under the condition of the same variety, flue - cured tobacco in cultivation pattern 1 treatment had relatively longer field growth period, better agronomic, characters, proper and coordinative chemical composition contents, and its such economic indexes as yield, average price, production value, fine tobacco rati-o and middle -fine tobacco ratio were at relatively higher level. Under the condition of the same cultivation pattern, Yunyan 87 had better performance in field growth period and chemical compositions, while K326 performed better in agronomic characters. There were no significant differences in economic characters among different varieties. In conclusion, cultivation pattern 2 and Yunyan 87as well as K326 were suitable for being popularized in Kaiyang, Guizhou.
