Effects of Different Debagging Dates on Fruit Coloration and Quality of Bagged Golden Delicious Apple
Taking bagged Golden Delicious as material,we studied the effects of seven different debagging dates on the fruit inner quality indexes (the contents of anthocyanin, chlorophyll and carotenoid in pericarp,as well as the contents of soluble solids, total sugar and ascorbic acid in fruit) and appearance quality indexes (fruit surface finish and coloration index). The results indicated that debagging on the 10th day before harvest of bagged Golden Delicious in Ningxia area had the best effects:when the fruits were uniformly harvested, their pericarps were red and tender with small dot;the fruits had maximum coloration index;their pericarps had the lowest chlorophyll content and the highest anthocyanin content, which is good for human health;the contents of both total sugar and soluble solids in fruits were the highest.
