Landform Distribution Features of Soil Erosion in A Small Watershed of Typical Black Soil Region
Dongshangou small watershed, located at Bin county,Harbin city,Heilongjiang province, was selected as the studied region. The universal soil loss equation (USLE)model was used to estimate the soil erosion in this watershed, and the ge-ographical information system (GIS)technology was used to analyze the landform distribution features (slope degree, slope direc-tion,elevation)of soil erosion. The research results showed that the soil erosion intensity in Dongshangou small watershed was mainly mild. The annual average soil erosion rate was the biggest in the upper reaches, moderate in the middle reaches, and the smallest in the lower reaches. In this watershed, the mild soil erosion was mainly distributed in the region with the slope degree of 1.5°~8.0°,the moderate soil erosion was mainly distributed in the region with the slope degree of 8°~15°,and the strong soil e-rosion was mainly distributed in the region with the slope degree of more than 15°. The soil erosion in various slope directions was mainly light-Ⅰ-type erosion. The soil erosion at the elevation of 160~170 m and 210~220 m was mainly slight erosion, and the soil erosion at the elevation of 170~200 m was mainly light-Ⅰ-type erosion. In addition, the soil erosion comprehensive index in-creased with the increase in slope degree. The soil erosion comprehensive index first increased and then decreased with the in-crease in elevation, and reached its maximum value at the elevation of 190~200 m.
