Study on Variation in Quantity of Floral Organs in Potted Asian Lily
Under the condition of natural cultivation in Lianyungang, the variations in the quantity of tepals and stamens in single floret of potted 13 Asian lily varieties were observed and statistically analyzed. The results showed that six lily varieties had variations in flower organ quantity, but only two varieties(tiny bee and victory joy)had rich variations. Among different types of variations in tepal quantity,the increase type was the main variation type;among different types of variations in stamen quantity, the decrease type was the main variation type;among the variations in the total quantity of tepals and stamens,the decrease-type variation accounted for about 50%.
